Our Jessica Ríos Santiago Reviewed on Diálogo UPR Newspaper

"Rarely are a student's achievements reviewed from the point of view of a mentor, teacher, a scientist already formed. Today, Karilys Dr. Gonzalez Nieves, who exercised as a mentor for the first time, speaks, and the experience has greatly surprised her. In her words: 'The case of Jessica Ríos Santiago is very special, because she was the first research student to whom I have given mentoring. Jessica has been very important in the development of the Chemistry Research Laboratory of the University of Puerto Rico in Carolina, and we started from scratch. I was taught that after work, every effort always pays off,' said Dr. Gonzalez Nieves, whose specialty is Inorganic Chemistry."
